Today I took my first field trip in years! It was just as exciting as it used to be in grade school, just the term "field trip" makes me happy inside, like the way "snow day" or "four-day-weekend" still fills my heart with child-like glee.
It was my very first time inside the AVL (Advanced Visualization Lab). Everything we saw was a new experience, and some of the technology felt so advanced, it's weird to believe it's been around since the early 90's. I would like to learn more, and possibly intern in the AVL. Learning to use different equipment than I'm used to will motivate me to create more, and be more creative.
